Save energy, support the local economy and local farmers in the process. You’ll also support yourself with having the most nutritious fruits and vegetables for your body and well-being. Nutrition Labels for Beer, Wine May Be Next
The Beer Institute is announcing the Brewer's Voluntary Disclosure Initiative, participating brewers and importers will voluntary provide a nutrition facts type label on their products.  Information displayed will be serving facts with calories, alcohol per volume, calories, carbs, fat and protein, freshness dates, ingredients (or a reference to this information via secondary packaging or a website).  We may be surprised to learn which beers have artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners and/or preservatives.  Won't that be nice to know?
